I live in Southern Ontario

PROS: Much much less racism, incredible diversity of cultures, and the national animal is a beaver!!!!

CONS: Toronto smells like dirty ass in the winter, oh god just thinking about it makes me wanna ralph, but it could be worse...like New York City. Also, expect to lose money in the currency exchange lol

All jokes aside, Canada is a great place to live in and I welcome you to come chill North of the border

I live in Southern Alberta...

Pros...Strong Economy ( Becasue we're an OIL town...sorry had to get that in) Close to the Mountains, Cheaper taxes than most of Canada, Health Care, Low Crime Rate, Chinooks in the Winter, Excellent camping and Backpacking, Excellent Bike Trail system in the city. (calgary), Close to Banff and some of the best skiing in the world, Friendly people.

Cons..The Occasional ball numbingly cold spell, Higher Taxes than the U.S., Not a lot of Big Lakes around here,..did I mention the ball numbing cold?

Pros: many places 'tolerate' cannabis

Cons: you have to learn to put 'Eh' at the end of every sentence.

In general, how cold does it get in the winter?

How warm does it get in the summer?

Canada:

Pros: you can slam a pie in the face of our Prime Minister without getting shot, break into his house in the middle of the night, and expect to be choked by him at a protest if you go. Higer taxes, but  medical coverage and  way better weedthan the US

Cons: Cold a lot of the time

Nova Scotia:

Pros: clean, probably the frendliest place in Canada, you can smoke joints on the crowded streets, not as cold as the rest of Canada (ocean is thermoregulator), Nova Scotia has some of the highest diversity of fungi in the world (if not the highest), great swimming, sort of diverse, busking oppurtunity, most guys here are fugly so there's lots of pussy , full nudity strip bars, drinking age is 19, same criminal laws in all of the provinces, slap on the wrist for dealing dope

Cons: Smaller cities, same people, umm...

I'll get back to you with more  :smirk:

It's hard to give a general answer about the weather where I live...It really varies greatly from year to year. We've had a few winters where we never got snow at all...but on the flip side of the coin, we've also had snow in August a few times. But I guess if I had to generalize the average Winter Temperature is about -15 Celcius (although it can often get below -35) (I have no idea what that is in Farenheit) and about +25 in the summer (but it has been over +30 many times) usually the winters and summers here are fairly moderate..not too cold and not too hot.

This winter has been unusually cold. Its been a long time since we've had one of these fuckers, and I wish it would just be spring!

Its gotten to -35C with the windchill this winter, it sucks waiting for the bus in that weather! Usually Its not so fucking cold here. Last summer it got up to ~35C. Not too bad.

i've always thought of moving to canada when i scrape together a little more money, but it just seems like it'd be too damn cold for my tastes. the climate here in america is getting worse and worse though...

It's been pretty warm here in B.C and we only get snow for about a month at most if we do. It's identical to Seattle which means it rains a lot.
