My contamination is another mushroom?

I've tried to stop this and it keeps blooming bigger every time I water. I've pulled, dug, and yelled at these things to stop them. They don't seem to be growing out of the running mycelium of cyan (I hope) thats all over the alder/hickory chips. They are growing from the compost dirt that I bought locally and is probably the source of these spores in the first place. Tonight I dug out that whole side that contained these prolific mushies in hope to save my indoor winter box. My question is what are they and will they destroy my project. They have very dark black spores and are fragile to the touch, stem and cap.

They're one of the coprinus species, otherwise known as inky caps. I'd toss the project out. If you're trying to grow P cyanescens, you need to do so outdoors in a bed where they can fend for themselves better.

Roger that Roger. It makes sense that it's the coprinus species for they grow alot in my yard. I coulda started that then. So if they don't grow like cyan's eating wood then I'll attempt to keep going with this box and start a new one as well. If it fails I'll throw it away. Once I go to 40-50 degrees they'll stop competing for spore production and the cyan will fruit, I'm thinkin. The mycelium of the cyan is nice and thick and should dominate during the degree drop.

LOL argg. After eating those with a couple shots could make me feel like not doing anything but lay in bed. They are like antibuse pills to people that drink, 2 times a week would be to much to drink.
