Maybe you could try coming up with an arguement that disolves Walmart, and ...oh...I don't know... say it to them. Wait...no that's to hard...just fucking rip Walmarts fat ass hole out with your teeth and chew it like jerky while they sell legal materials...boo hoo hoo.

There are hundreds if not thousands of arguments agaist gun control which people like Moore simply dismiss. How do you argue with a brick wall?

I guess this is why carrot top is the number one comic in America and Bill Hicks was unknown there. Like Bill says "That's what fundamentalism breeds - no irony"

You mean completly wrong, made up arguments like the one you raised in the GUNS thread? Like this made-up quote from Adolf?
?This year will go down in history. For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration! Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future!? - Adolph Hitler, April 15, 1935

I just wondered who would goto Wal Mart for ammunition anyway, you can get it cheaper just about anywhere else.
walmart (or K-mart) is pretty cheap for shotgun shells but i've never bought rifle ammo there.

You stilll believe in that Hitler qoute? Any evidence of your own to support it? Can you provide me a law the Nazi's passed relating to gun control in 1935? Shouldn't be too hard to prove if there's any truth to it whatsoever.

"If gun laws in fact worked, the sponsors of this type of legislation should have no difficulty drawing upon long lists of examples of crime rates reduced by such legislation. That they cannot do so after a century and a half of trying--that they must sweep under the rug the southern attempts at gun control in the 1870-1910 period, the northeastern attempts in the 1920-1939 period, the attempts at both Federal and State levels in 1965-1976--establishes the repeated, complete and inevitable failure of gun laws to control serious crime." Senator Orrin Hatch, Chairman, Senate Judiciary Committee Subcommittee on the Constitution, 97th Cong., 2d Sess., The Right to Keep and Bear Arms, Committee Print I-IX, 1-23 (1982).

"Assault rifles have never been an issue in law enforcement. I have been on this job for 25 years and I haven't seen a drug dealer carry one. They are not used in crimes, they are not used against police officers." -- Trenton NJ Deputy Chief of Police Joseph Constance "Since police started keeping statistics, we now know that assault weapons are/were used in an underwhelming 0.026 of 1% of crimes in New Jersey. This means that my officers are more likely to confront an escaped tiger from the local zoo than to confront an assault rifle in the hands of a drug-crazed killer on the streets." -- Joseph Constance (deputy chief of Trenton NJ police dept) in testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee in Aug 1993 Here is the best one and it's even from jesus Jesus on Self-Defense - He that hath no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. -- the Bible, Luke 22:36. `Firearms have been around for over 400 years, yet it is only in the last 20 years that people have begun shouting "gun control". Why then, only recently, has this become such an issue? Moreover, why are there more mass-murderers than at any other time in our known history? It is not because weapons are more powerful -- 200-year-old muzzleloaders have a much greater force-per-round than today's "assault rifles". It is not because weapons are semi- or fully-automatic -- rapid-fire weapons have been available for most of the last century. It is not due to a lack of laws -- we have more "gun control" laws than ever. It IS, however, because we have chosen to focus on "gun control" instead of crime control or "thug control." It IS because only recently has the public become complacent enough to accept, by inaction, the violence present in our society.' - Kevin Langston, Tuesday, 29 October, 1991 (Bingo)
