I dont get it, why would ya do that?

now im waiting for someone to market the syringe economy to show that there not the only ones who can make a syringes.

No doubt hes a great provider and supplier to many but the price increase are out there now.

Have you seen what happened to PF?

There are vendors talking about getting out of the business, people jumping ship left and right..

Supply goes down, price goes up.

I feel your pain. I think that it's an 'insurance' of sorts, in case anything bad happens. I was just checking sporeworks and their syringes are $13. I have had great success identifying spores from sporeworks; with a decent microscope you can tell what strain they are right away. Pre-PF Bust TLG was the best . . . post PF Bust TLG is still great, but better prices can be found.

Its called supply and demand. Cant say I wouldnt do the same if I was him cause look at the risk involved in what he is doing. Feds got the taste of blood with Fanaticus I am sure they want more.  :frown:

I KNEW THAT WAS WHY___ really I did, i read that post about the Factus bust.

But Listen: Hes trying this markup thing like George bush did when the World Trade buildings got hit , they marked up gas hella and after they figured out oh maybe we shouldnt do that they put it back down.

ITs the same thing and concept, i hope they rethink this markup thing, im worried

Well, I ve been in business for almost a year and a half and this is my first ever increase.

Is $12 for a spore syringe unreasonable? Well how about $12 for a spore syringe and a free Maz syringe? That works out to $6 each.

You aren't aware that I've had constant deals like this for over a year?

I'm not shooting to be the cheapest. If that's all you are looking for then I would advise you keep searching. Sorry.

20 dollars a syringe? Thats crazy it was 4 for 25 dollars. I knew this day would come. I bet theyll eventually close after they milk there last supply out for all its worth. I also bet they were getting spores from pf :shocked: time to take prints

Right on man you get what you pay for. If you dont like it tough crap. You offer a *good* service let alone one we are lucky to have at all. I mean would you jump offa bridge for 20$'s....... stupid question I would at least. But you get the point.

Keep it real boxtop, your a good vendor and well worth the $$'s

I support BoxTops's price increase 100%. The Hawks Eye has raised prices and they will go up further to almost $20 a a single syringe come April. Of course there will be discounts such as buy 3 get 1 free, buy 4 get 2 free, buy 5 get 3 free.

Something you all need to realize. It was the damn kids and teens that were buying spores from PF and having them sent to their parents house. It was so cheap they could easily do it. Parents from all around the nation called in an complained. Thus the investigation began and now PF is facing serious prison time.

By raising the prices it helps keep these spores out of kids/teens hands as most teens dont have much money.
This helps keep these spore businesses, in business.
Its also a very high risk busienss for us now. None of you are going to pay TLG's bail or attorneys cost if they decide to destroy his business.

A little tip, you will see price increases throughout most spore businesses in the next month to come. In case you havn't noticed many have already quit or are scheduled to quit, The Hawks Eye being on of them.

This is not about supply and demand, there are much bigger factors involved here. In fact there is very little demand for them compared to a couple of years ago and we use to charge much higher prices for spore syringes back then.


So give TLG and all of us other vendors a break and understanding that we are all a little stressed out and worried after the PF bust. We are all a uncertain about the future of these type of counter culture businesses/products. This is not a good business to be in anymore :frown:

I'm glad to hear TLG will push on and remain open though! I wish Boxtop lots of success.

isn't the money (something like $30,000 a month) one of the main reasons why PF got busted?? im not real sure i would say raising the price is good towards not getting busted or whatever. nonetheless, tlg is the best providor out there hands down, so when i receive new students in the spring i will definately be ordering class supplies from TLG

PF is stating that he was paying income taxes on his income...so he won't be nailed for tax evasion.

No. PF later told a judge he was making $30k a month. Even if its true that was not a smart move.
I'm shocked he didn't have a safe stash of money somewhere if he was making that kind of money. He has been in business since the 70's so it doesn'st surprise me his clientel has grown that big.

Why in the world he wasn't better prepared for this is with that type of money is what I do not understand.

None the less, we all need to pull together and help him out. Hopefully he will come to his senses and pay an attorney to represent him.
