Dunking with pins?

Another friend of mine has a myco bag thats no longer in the bag. He wants to dunk it but he noticed some new pins today. Should he go pic the pins and dunk it or leave them on and dunk it or not dunk it at all?

Let the pins mature and then dunk or just pick them off now and dunk. I wouldn't advise dunking with the pins still on it.

Go ahead and dunk with the pins intact. It will not hurt anything.
