Mono-tub lighting question.

If one were to have tubs throughout a room with just the rooms light on the ceiling, in the middle of the room, would that be sufficient light for fruiting conditions, or do I absolutely need to get a light that is closer to the tubs?
Also, for fruiting, is 24/7 light best, or 12/12?
Thank you in advance!

residual light will work,. but some indirect sunlight or 6500k light is best,. no you dont HAVE to have a light,. but it makes it nice,. proly see a little better quality grow with it,.
and 12/12
best of luck

Yes, I do know for certain and this has been covered many times. A light on the ceiling is somewhat less than useless. Get fluorescent fixtures with 6500K lamps and ensure each tub gets very bright light. Place the fluorescent lamp as close to the tubs as possible without causing heating. 12/12. Light is extremely important for proper fruit body development. RR

^^Yes. If you've ever seen pics of some of the Psilocybe farms in the Netherlands, they show how cubes will grow towards the light. They are photosensitive, and light is needed for pin formation. Ambient light from a incandescent bulb, as RR said, is useless. Natural light is best, though 6500 fluorescent lights are fine.
