I consumed these mushrooms Monday night, along with two others (my girlfriend and her close friend who was visiting us). I made tea of somewhere between 7 and 9 grams of cyanescens, split three ways in 24oz water. Definitely the strongest tea I've ever had.
It was especially positive because my girlfriends visiting friend (also female) had never taken any psychedelics before, and she had an overwhelmingly positive experience.
I should mention that we started out munching just a few fresh cubensis also, sitting around the wood stove with a fire going. The two women were doing practice questions from the Miller Analogy Test, until which point it became impossible to really think in those ways anymore.
Definitely a lot was learned by all, and it really strengthened my relationship with my partner and the land that we live on. What an astonishing way to experience the solstice, to be precisely between the Sun and the Moon, tripping very hard.
I felt, as I always do, connection to all the beauty of all the organisms around and inside me, and the delicate exchange of nutrients, the passage of life into death back into life, eating each other eating each other.
And I perceived Babylon, the wilful and knowing killing of others and this planet in a manner not respecting of the balanced and communicated exchange, in a way that leads not to more and continued life but rather to a loss of life and a halt of growth.
A delicate balance to oppose the forces of wilful and knowing betrayal of nature, to nurture the mushrooms and spread their wisdom. Fear but righteousness.
We definitely need to transcend the financial ills of the world, the manipulation of abstract resources bent on exploiting others and stealing natural resources. I don't know how precisely but it is necessary and should occupy the forefront of each of our minds. It is the most important concern any of us can have if we are to be participants in this drama.
