I like but I killed Mr. House too early in one game w/o saving where I could go back. I saved before killing him, but my earliest save was still in his Lucky 38 place, where i couldnt exit w/o talking to him
Hardcore mode sucks ass. I played it for....4 hours before i said this is fucking lame and turned it off. have to eat and sleep way to much, and really thats about the only difference.

For the PC gamers playing this, I just wanted to mention that the developer's console in New Vegas is GREAT. One of the best I've ever seen in a game.
You can look up the commands on the net, but I enjoy using "setgs fmoverun #"... it allows you to change the movement speed of everything in game... so it's very useful if you're searching around for a new area and getting fucked around by invisible walls or mountains.
Also I lost my companions at one point (I teleported to different areas but they didn't show) so I found the command to teleport directly to Boone. Awesome.

Quit whining. If you think it's such a bad game I invite you to play Fallout 2, or Chrono trigger, again....and again......and again.
Now that Bethesda fixed the NPC frame-rate glitch I'm finally able to play.
It is awesome.

fallout 2 is one of the best games ever. better than any fallout 3 or new vegas.
even though new vegas is pretty great.
probably because of all of the many references to fallout 2.

i have only played fallout 2 once...
it was awesome then, and it would be a whole new story now.

lol i havent encountered any hard core glitches or lag in this game which I couldnt fix myself(most games have these and Im always fixing what developers left, I dont complain cause I get free games.). Iv got 45 hours so far. Damn you time consuming side quests
I consider myself a hardcore bethesda fan though. I pirated FO3 and still bought it after I had beat the game.
Patch #3 pretty much covered it all.

Perhaps.
My point is, if you think the games coming out these days are bad, you can always play old games.
So I'm telling Akira, that if he doesn't like new games (which from his posts it seems he doesn't) he can always play the old games again.
However it seems like he (and others) have some sand in their vaginas, because people are enjoying new and popular games.
That's why they post incessantly on the boards trying to slag games which they refuse to buy, and haven't played.
Get me?
