HI all! I have gotten some "cool" thing in the mail in the last little while and I just want to know what you all think of blue lotus , mugwort and wild dagga I have hade lotus tae \ smoked mugwort smoked\didnt have the tea , but it "knocke out my brother!"(and that was just enough to roll a joint!)
and dagga in tea form but I was on kava so .....the effects were not given my full attention
what do you all think of these herbs?
I think mugwort is strong but I like the lotus high better (although I never had mugwort tea ) and I have been told that "a fool that does not respect dagga should not cry when she bites him"
I assume this is about how STRONG the sedative effects are I also treid kava for the first time , coca tea ! and I got wormwood in my package to! I am going to be busy ! OH and the best part is on some herb site it says wormwood and mugwort are similar! tea time!

Personally, i like the blue lotus high. It leaves me with a feeling of profounf relaxation. As for the other stuff on your list, they are pretty good too but can't compare to bl. I usually get about a 1/2 pound mix of what you have from the markets every week, only to find it gone by the next day. Still have to try kava though... whats it like?

I'm actually trying my luck growing some siberian mugwort (sibericus dagga). I've heard that you get more from taking the flowers and leaves fresh from a cultivated plant, even compared to extract. The only way I've ever had a major buzz with the sibericus was after taking about 10g of kratom extract and after smoking about 2 joints of blue lotus. But after doing all that I could definately tell a difference from just using kratom or blue lotus. My advice is try it with some wild lettuce either as tea or as the resin.

I wouldn't class mugwort as a high. I used to smoke it every so often, as i enjoyed the taste and it gave me nice dreams. However i wouldn't say i noticed anything else. Same for when i've had the tea.

Hey, I've just received my package that has many of the same items you've listed! I haven't tried the mugwort, but look forward to it. Wild Dagga has left me mildly sedated when smoked. Blue lotus hasn't done much for me at all, but it's pretty. I like kava a lot, but it's more of a chill type thing-- the rest I'm trying for sleep purposes.
Also in my goodies to try bag: Sinnuichi (sp?) Red Poppy flowers Kola Nut (no idea how to use it)
Oh, and see my post about wild yam. I'm warning everyone!

Artemisia Vulgaris ( Mugwort ) is something I would really not think about drinking beer without , Snip a small growing tip off of a mugwort plant ( about 3" ) and put it into the beer bottle shortly after opening, alow to sit for about a hour , untill warm. It imparts a very unique taste to it , and the intoxication is a great deal different , and more of a waking drunk , quite nice , the beer could be rechilled again likely, I just have a habit of opening up my bottle , puting this in and alowing it to sit , could just as easily put back in fridge, at this point, I enjoy warm beer, as much if not more then the chilled ale -Tranceharper

I did the fermentation as suggested, some report good results via this prep. I didn't.
What's your method?

Yes, please advise on the method you chose that was best. I fermented in the sun for a couple of days, but have gone really lightly on the dosage. So far, so good...
