Let's just pray that it gets below the 50% mark.

Unfortunately for you and anyone who wishes it wouldn't happen, Bush will be re-elected.

Call me crazy, but I swore to god that percent went up to 100.
I hear you though, but don't you think if he was doing a good job it would have leveled out?
Besides, that 90% was a panic confidence, being after 9-11 and all....

I hate to admit it, but I tend to agree with you.
It just seems like people are too afraid to vote for anyone else.

Everything goes in cycles. Democrats have been in power for too long for it to continue. The tide had to turn at some point. It is really too bad they didn't do more for the our cause. It is certain the Republicans won't.

I agree, I just wish a better Republican was in the office, or I wish he had a better administration.

Hmm..... I'm not sure, with his incessant push for war, I feel there is a greater threat for more attacks on America. I also feel that this regime..err...administration has caused much more damage to our civil liberties than prior administrations.
But yes, I think we can survive, or at least I hope.

Lots to debate in just those few sentences. But I ain't touching it!
Herr Klinton cut deals with the Red Chinese. And that's my last comment on the subject.

That graph correlates nicely with the level of hysteria in America. I suspect both will see a bump in the coming weeks...

With Patriot Act 1, Patriot Act 2, the push for operation tips, and total information awareness there is no disputing that the current regime is a threat to individual privacy, liberty, and the American way of life.

That's Bullshit!!!!
everyone was agreeing and i thought i would spice things up
Clinton hovered around 50% (approval) and he got re-ellected and didn't recieve 50% of the votes, so i don't see the big deal...but that graph looks consistant.

That graph looks nice. Many have said that Bush will win another term; the election isn't until 2004. That's a long way off and many things can happen. I voted for Bush... now I see that he's dangerous and it was a mistake. Although I would NEVER have voted for Al Bore there were other options. I travel outside of the US on a regular basis. For the past year I have felt a definite increase in the hate towards Americans because of our governments' pompous attitude. We are the strongest nation on Earth but we need to remember the words of T. Roosevelt, "Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far". I believe that the quote commonly attributed to Roosevelt is actually a West African proverb

But Bush's approval hasn't been hovering, its been dropping, so hopefully (fingers crossed) it will continue.
I mean, who am I kidding, right? I'm not going to delude myself into thinking he won't get re-elected, but I can dream, if only for a brief moment.
