Have you smoked them? yes

Do you still smoke? NO

Favorite brand? Winston regulars

if you quit, how did you? How long were you addicted before? I smoked for like 15 years..... have been quit for about 3 years. I quit by supplementing with smokeless tobacco, and then quit using that.... I never grew addicted to smokeless tobacco, for some odd reason. I do NOT recommend this method, because most ppl just become addicted to smokeless tobacco.

Have you smoked them? Yes.

Do you still smoke? No.

Favorite brand? I don't have one.

If you quit, how did you? I never was addicted and only smoked with my friend maybe once or twice a month. To quit, I just didn't smoke another. They aren't my thing.

How long were you addicted before? Never was.

Yes, no, N/A, N/A.

I tried 'em and they suck dick.
What is the pull with these things? They taste like shit and they don't get you high.
I understand that once you're on them, the addiction kicks in, but how does anyone get to that point?
How do you get past the fact that initially they completely and totally suck horse dick?

Are you kidding? You don't feel a nicotine buzz? I get a nicotine high like crazy when I smoked cigs especially since I never do.

If by "high" you mean feeling vaguely uncomfortable and feeling like your head is stuffed full of cotton, then okay yeah, cigarettes get me high. So does sniffing sharpies.

Have you smoked them? yes

Do you still smoke? no

Favorite brand? Camel Turkish Royals(usa), Benson&Hedges(canada)

if you quit, how did you? How long were you addicted before? Just sort of decided to stop a few weeks ago . Nicotine doesn't seem to be addictive at all to me personally. Before that I smoked for about 3 years, at various frequencies up to a pack/day. I think I used them to ease social situations (to give me something to do with my hands and mouth) more than anything. I'd honestly have a much, much harder time giving up weed.

I'll still let myself have a cig or 3 if I decide I want one, which will probably only be if I'm drunk, opiated, or rolling.

Have you smoked them? yes

Do you still smoke? yes

Favorite brand? Bali Shag Halfzware

if you quit, how did you? How long were you addicted before? I smoked multiple times daily for about a year. After that, I cut back drastically, without a hitch, and now I smoke a nice rolled cigarette once or twice a month. Never went through any cravings, and I also don't particularly enjoy nicotine too much (I like a little, but even half a cigarette quickly leaves me feeling nauseated).

I like smoking cigarettes because I like inhaling the smke(doesn't get me buzzed though) and because I like the taste.

I got addicted to them because they actually did give me a headrush the first couple times and then i kept being a retard and smoking em.

havent smoked onein 24 hours tho

if you quit, how did you? How long were you addicted before? Addicted for 5 years, smoked occasionally 4 years before that. Quit a month and a half ago, still miss them every day, get cravings now and again.

use to smoke most any menthol 100s for about 5-6 year
stopped about amonth andahalfa go and the craving has finally subsided completely i think.. first two weeks were the worst.

i had to quit cannabis also about two months ago for court, and without the weed ciggis were pointless really

i think the only stress relieved by ciggarettes is the stress they cause by the craving.

i quit very slowly, been planning on it and reminding myself how bad they are for about half a year, and inhailing less and smoking less frequently.

i would still smoke them on special occasions though, like on trips, or on rare occasion just hanging out with friends that smoke them, but not half a pack a day thank godness.

ive heard native americans used it as a sacred herb only used in sacred ceramonys thats kindof how id like to do it.

American Spirit Filters are just disgusting. I suggest smoking Dunhill Red, also without additives, and way way tastier.

Well, I just got put on wellbutrin, so I don't cravings anymore...

have I?  Yes.
Do I? weaning myself.  I've had half of one today.  I intend to have the other half if I ever crave it, and then I wont buy another pack.
Favorites?  Camel filters.
How do I quit?  Wellbutrin.  It really does cut the cravings down immensely.

Have you smoked them? yes

Do you still smoke? yes

Favorite brand? American Spirit (perique)

if you quit, how did you?
I quit drinking first and then I was able to quit cigs because I only smoked them while drinking...but I drank everyday. Later I could drink again without smoking.
Needless to say I was only able to quit for a year and a half and then I started up again

How long were you addicted before?
3 years from 19-22 and then got readdicted again when I was 24 which I am now, been smokin for about 6 months.

I've tried ciggs before, but it wasn't until I started probation at the age of 25 that I started to smoke them regularly. I enjoy the act of smoking and since I'm temporarily unable to smoke cannabis I've taken up tobacco as a substitute. I plan on quitting when my probation is over.

They must be in cahoots with the tobacco companies, because I've always been against smoking until this happened. The long arm of the law has forced my hand.

Well, they certainly aren't involved with the alcohol companies, because I'm not even legally allowed to drink or be in a bar. My arrest had nothing to do with alcohol and alcohol is a legal substance. :boggle:
