Just looking for some input so to speak.....

I'm not sure, maybe I should have posted this in the Ethnobotanicals forum but I decided to put it here.
I have a very serious to me long term goal of studying ethnobotanicals. I then want to take what I learn and open up my own alternative medicines shop. Opening the shop of course is the long term part of the goal. I have never been more positive of what I want to do than I am with this. So please I would like this thread to be taken in all seriousness. Thank you.
The input I am looking for is how to go about doing this. I know what I want to do but I am not sure of what steps I would need to take to achieve this. I am now about to search for schools that study this subject. Do any of u know of any? Or even some good sites to start my research? I really want to work with plants.
Also when I get to the point of opening the store does anyone know if it's necassary to have some sort of business degree or if there is certain lisences u need to have to open that type of business?
Thank you for taking the time to read this and respond any help will be greatly appreciated cuz I am really just starting now with this idea I really know nothing of where or what I need to do. I've only had a small course in alternative meds and then whatever knowledge I have gained from this site.

Ethnobotany is a sub-discipline; no 'degrees' yet. You can sell ethnobotanicals online with your own store or through Ebay. A physical building is superfluous as an ethnobotanical isn't a common local consumable. This isn't Huxley's Island.
Best advice is to keep reading. There isn't any right or wrong, and you will do far better to read a diversity of things.

Thank you thats what I'm starting to find out there is only one university that actually offers a degree in ethnobotany and its in hawaii. Everything I've found so far says that its like a sub course or something to that effect in subjects such as botany, anthropology, biochemistry, ect.
Which is also good because of how broad the studies are can offer many many different career paths to explore. thank u again for ur input. An online store would be a nice option to explore. Also I mean there's always a first for everything ya know.
Has anyone taken course through an online college? How is that experience do u feel u can learn from it just as well as u can from having the conventional classroom?
I have a baby on the way and thats going to make school a lil more difficult.
