I am not thinking of doing a William Pickard interview (*update*) 4

So on October 21st, I sent an e-mail to the go between to William Leonard Pickard, wishing Leonard a happy birthday from The Shroomery. I got a response back yesterday.
Quote:
re: the em from [Learyfan] at shroomery.org regarding birthday wishes
Ben,
I don't have [Learyfan's] em address, but please thank him for the kind birthday wishes. I do admire the efforts of everyone at shroomery.org, and may wish to correspond on some small matters if there is an email for such. Blessings to folks at shroomery, for their excellent work.
L
So since he's heard of us and likes us and even suggested himself that he'd correspond with us about small matters (?), I thought I'd conduct an interview with him. I thought I'd get ideas for questions from you guys and make it a Shroomery interview. Not only would I like to ask him soft ball questions such as "What was your first psychedelic experience like?", "How did it feel to trip on your first batch of LSD?", etc., I would like to ask him about how he worked as a DEA informant against meth manufacturers. I thought I'd couch that tough question in between all of the other questions though, so that the tone of the interview doesn't sound negative. Anyway, what do you think? If you want to ask a question of Pickard, include it in this thread.

Is it a fact of making LSD that you're gonna trip when you do? (old myth).
I don't know if it's been answered before.
Really looking forward to the interview.

I'll make this post the rough draft of the interview and I'll add to it when we think of questions to ask.
Shroomery (Learyfan): Leonard, thank you for speaking with us here at shroomery.org. It means a lot. We understand if you don't want to answer some questions. When did you first hear about The Shroomery and what kind of internet access have you had since your incarceration?
Pickard:
Shroomery (Learyfan): When did you take your first psychedelic trip? Which substance was it? What was it like?
Pickard:
Shroomery (Learyfan): Which psychedelic drug did you first synthesize?
Pickard:
Shroomery (saxx): During the manufacturing process, does the LSD inadvertently get into your system each time?
Pickard:
Shroomery (MCSteveyC): How did you learn how to synthesize LSD?
Pickard:
Shroomery (xxgeorgexx): After being through so much, good and bad, is there any advice about life, in general you would like to share with us?
Pickard:
Shroomery (Krash Kharma): What is your opinion on the likelihood of another mainstream, 60's style psychedelic movement?
Pickard:
Shroomery (Adamist): In this day in age, is it feasible to make psychedelics freely available? Is it unethical to profit from something sacred?
Pickard:
Shroomery (Learyfan): Okay, tough question. We know you were a DEA informant. As you know, that's extremely taboo in our culture, but most of us still support you based on the fact that your massive amount of good work outweighed your bad work. Could you please address this situation. What was the extent of your cooperation? How did it come about? Do you regret it?
Pickard:
Shroomery (Adamist): Do you believe that the chemist's intentions and mind-set somehow influence the essence of what is created?
Pickard:
Shroomery (floatingwater): How do you feel about the way your batches were spread around? Are you pleased with the respect people showed toward your product and the distribution of it?
Pickard:
Shroomery (PsilocybinMike): What are you favorite bands? Have you ever eaten LSD that was superior than your own?
Pickard:
Shroomery (pyl91): How do you occupy your time? What kind of books do you read?
Pickard:
Shroomery (DosileFlynn): Have you ever had a "thumbprint" dose of LSD?
Pickard:
Shroomery (FleshCap): Does the wisdom you gained from the psychedelic experience still guide your life today? How? Any regrets? Would you take it all back?
Pickard:
Shroomery (Learyfan): Thank you so much for your time!

Do you mind if I rephrase your question, saxx? It sounds like you're saying "During the manufacturing process, does the LSD inadvertently get into your system each time?"

Ask him how he put up with having that Neurosoup bitch around all the time.
but seriously, I'd like to know if he has any opinion on the likeliness of a revival of psychedelics in the main stream (like a 'second 60's or whatever) Rephrase that how ever you want.

Okay, last three questions added. MCSteveyC, I had better leave the precursor question off. I doubt he would be able to answer that question.

I would like to ask him what he thinks about the idea of selling the more "sacramental" psychedelics.
In this day and age, is it feasible for them to be freely available? Is it unethical to profit from something sacred?

I'd like to ask if he believes the chemist's intentions and mind-set somehow influence the essence of what is created.. Quantum chemistry if you will.
For example- I've had acid trips where the Love was overwhelming... and I've had acid trips that lacked that special feeling.
Would he attribute these kinds of differences solely to set and setting?

Adamist, I added yours. Sui, I'm sure he'd probably say that he thought Skinner was someone he could trust at the time. Did you want to elaborate or?

Great idea learyfan, i'm excited that you've all ready received promising communication from him. Ask him how he felt about the way his batches were spread around. Whether he was pleased with the respect people showed towards his product and distribution of it or if he didn't really know or care what happened to it as soon as it left his hands.
Can't wait to see this come to fruition!

I've always wondered about regrets...would he take it All back if he could?

I'm thinking since he's corresponding from prison, any correspondence will be logged and scrutinized. I don't think it's wise to ask him any questions that are incriminating, particularly since he's still fighting his incarceration.
That's probably why his handler was willing to answer the small stuff, because anything further could land him in trouble. You wouldn't want to ask him how fun it was to run an international LSD empire, or if he wishes that Skinner gets shanked in prison.
