I keep reading everywhere that this is nearly impossible, with minimal results... anyways.
Onto the important stuff.
Here in P.NW, natural fruiting of wood loving psilocybes happens in october / november.
So, taking all of the factors of natural fruiting / habitat into account. I was wondering if a temperature/lighting pattern like this might cause fruiting to occur...
For 7 days, daytime temps of 65, night time temps of 55. 6 hours indirect lighting.
For the following 7 days, daytime temps of 60, night time temps of 50. 5 hours indirect lighting.
For the next 3 days, daytime temps of 50, night time temps of 40 degree's. 4 hours of indirect lighting. (planning to simulate a couple days of northern winds to bring down some cold air, and, hopefully set off the season)
For the remaining days of fruiting, bring the temps up a few degree's average... daytime temp of 55, and night time temp of 45. 4 hours indirect lighting. I am also thinking that after the cold shock to increase humidity to 100% at this point, but not before.
You get where I am going with this? Trying to simulate the coming of winter, and how it might affect the natural habitat. Only a few hours of light that gradually decreases to simulate a the coming shorter day's affecting a well shaded area.
If anyone has better numbers to plug in and try, please let me know, and why.
