You can thank this guy when K2 becomes illegal in AZ...
Driver Who Fled Crash Says He Took Synthetic Marijuana Spice Thursday, 11 Nov 2010 - My Fox Phoenix
SCOTTSDALE - It was a wild morning in Scottsdale Thursday. A 29-year-old man who crashed into three cars told cops he had ingested "Spice," synthetic marijuana that is not approved for human consumption.
Thursday around 7:30 a.m., witnesses reported that a driver was driving eastbound on Thomas Rd at a high rate of speed and ran two red lights.
While approaching Thomas and Scottsdale Rds, he crashed into three vehicles stopped at the red light. After the collision, police say the driver climbed out through the sunroof of his car and ran on foot.
Witnesses followed the suspect to the shopping plaza and officers arrested him there inside the Einstein's Bagels store.
The driver was identified as Zachary Snow, 29. Officers asked him if he was impaired, and Snow told them he took Spice just before driving and doesn't remember what happened afterwards.
Snow was arrested for leaving the scene of an injury collision. Police are awaiting results of a toxicology test.
No one was seriously injured.

Oh great.... This is just another coincidence that they are linking to use as an excuse to ban it. The only details they say about the person is spice. What kind of clothes was he wearing? What kind of shoes? What did he eat that day? Was he under any mental stress that day or had he been for that week or for a very long time? Does he have any previous driving record? Did he drink any coffee or eat any sugar? I mean seriously, someone gets in a car accident and the same person HAPPENS to have used spice and SUDDENLY "SPICE MAKES YOU GET IN CAR ACCIDENTS! WE MUST BAN IT TODAY TO SAVE BILLIONS OF LIVES!" It is like Reefer madness all over again.
I am not saying that spice had absolutely nothing to do with it, but spice doesn't make you drive cars. Beer doesn't make you drive cars. I only drink at home unless someone sober is driving, this doesn't mean you should ban alcohol because someone decides to drink and drive right? *sigh* but it doesn't matter what I say, the law makers are eager to ban everything they can. Those F***ing A***oles.
"sickens thousands" then it says "Young people are going to hospitals with racing hearts, hallucinations and elevated blood pressure after smoking synthetic marijuana" How is that sickening? I guess some people will feel 100% well and stick their finger down their throat and make their self vomit and then minutes later their feeling normal again and claim "I was sick". To me, if your "Sick" it is going to last at LEAST 24 hours.
"nearly 2,000 people have become ill, some with life-threatening symptoms," "become ill" as in what? temporarily feeling like crap for 1-6 hours? "life-threatening symptoms" as in what? symptoms? holding your breath is a life-threatening symptom, not eating when your hungry is a life-threatening symptom, it sounds to me, that their beefing up the terms in order to try to get this stuff banned and it is a shame.
