A guy on the street said he had the same one, although he's only used it twice so far. He turns the heat down to a little over half. It doesn't need to be going nuts, but you should be able to hear it hissing regularly (every 10 seconds or so). He likes to hear some noise so he knows it's always at 15psi, but sometimes the water is a little low when things are all done.

Tip: Be sure to run it without the weight on at all for about 5-10 mins when warming up. You'll need to put the weight on (screw it in) once there's a nice big constant blast of steam coming out of there. This exausts excess air and makes sure it gets up to full temperature. You'll definitely need a steam proof glove, like the silicone ones that protect up to 300 or so degrees.

nah, no need for steam glove, just be swift, my python just uses a hot pad, just dank hang yur hand over the damn steam cloud burstin out.

when its done, if you need a quicky cool, take the pressure gauge off, take it over to the sink, spray all around the sides wit cold water, this drops the steam quick like, then add warm water to the pot, after dumping the hot shit out of course, if you cool it down fast jars will break, once you get it cooled down a lil bit, you can ice bath

A young Goldilocks once told me that it should have just a slight rock to it.
Not to hard not to soft but just right.

I own two pressure cookers.
One is a Presto 17 QT... cost me $72 w/o S&H. You can get similiar at www.redhillsgeneralstore.com
I don't recommend you buying anything off of eBay, the prices shoot up, and don't have warentee, but you may find a steal now and then.
The other is my favourite All American 921. It was free heheeh! Those go anywhere from $130ish to $175 but I've seen them cost $200+.

It's not really supposed to jiggle :|.

You can get one at any big waly-mart for around $40 for a 17QT and $55 for a 22QT.

The above post is for entertainment purposes only and should not be construed to be real in any way. I am also unaware of any rights I may have, as I suffer from dementia.

As long you can see the pressure stay at 15 psi it?s ok, no matter how strong the jiggle is(the less the better...)
