this is a smaller version of the laundry basket because there wasn't a mass amount of substrate. It colonized nicely and fruited as you can see. Is the mycelium too thick on the sides preventing pins to form or should there be another flush?

also... there's probably no way to tell in the pictures but the veils have broken on these but the caps haven't opened. should he wait to pull these bad boys? i believe the strain he bought was cambodian and it's about half and half straw and horse poo. beautiful beautiful beauitful

i recognise those lovely cambodians!

they're growing on top, cos that's where the casing (moisture) is, but don't be surprised if later they grow through the holes in the side too. pick as soon as the veil breaks (i.e. now) a few at a time, and the whole crowd within a day or so. leave the pinheads, though, as they're the second flush preparing.

tiny but plentiful, that cambo strain. later flushes are bigger - biggest cambo i ever grew from that batch was 10g, but generally they were 1-2g each, and 5g was a biggun.

enjoy!

:grin:xx

wow.. happy to find this 12 hours later

the one to the right of the lighter is the biggest by far
he wants to let some of the fruits that have grown into the mycileum of the mature ones grow a little.. is that so wrong or should they be pulled as soon as the big ones are fully mature?
