Casing after first flush (BULK)
    #1346000 - 03/02/03 02:36 AM (15 years, 2 months ago)

AFOAF has fruited some casings made of poo and straw, he was advised to wait with the casing untill after the first flush (so he did). Now he has just picked his first flush (a really nice one) and is about to apply the casing layer. His question is, should he place them in the incubator or just let em be in the fruiting chamber?

my therapist spawned with the same thing with 4 brf cakes and also had a very good first flush....
but he just heavily misted it and waited til the second flush started pinning again. was much weaker.
But if ur gonna apply a new casing layer after a first flush, wouldnt it make sense to put it back in the incubator
til myc pokes thru THEn fruit it?  It will help the myc recover and give u a good second flush,
otherwise, u'll be trying to fruit a weak mycellial mat for its second run at things...and also trying to poke thru
a new fresh casing layer????  That could be too much to ask from it.  But thats just an opinion,
just making an assumption!
Good luck though,

sBUD
