We get pure chemicals with nothing else dangerous in high, unneeded amounts, the government gets their tax money, and we all win. Why can't they see that?
Except I, and many people like me, would never accept biometrics in order to do basic purchasing. The only time I've ever had something like that done was at a Wawa where I was carded for smokes and they actually SCANNED my driver's license. I was like "wtf yo?" and they were all "yah, we can do that now, new Federal IDS"
I don't regularly buy cigarettes so this isn't a problem for me.
Ehh you don't have to do biometrics, but it's the only way to be failsafe that some teenager didn't steal his dad's license and run to the store. The gas station clerk could handle it if it came down to personal privacy/ security.

It wouldn't matter, kids will always be able to get it from there friends that are of age. Look at how easy it is for children to get alcohol. Not to say that drugs aren't even easier with prohibition though.

Codeine is metabolized ---> Morphine. Promethazine not only sedates and depresses CNS, but increases how much codeine--->Morphine.
Ever had yourself some morphine chaps above?
P.S. pretending nobody ever even suggesting scanning your fingerprint for identification to buy drugs from the state....

I never really noticed much of a difference when taking potentiators when doing opiates. Then again I wasn't doing codeine, and my tolerance was really high. I'd still opt for eating a percocet over purple drank. I didn't find codeine to be all that recreational.

If you had half a brain you would see that people already drive high and drunk all the time. Prohibition doesn't change that. I'd also rather drive next to people high on opiates and amphetamines than people drunk. You are talking out of your ass.
I tend to talk out of my ass at times, it's a skill I have perfected over many years of driving stoned and drunk. Still, average shitheads don't have the same magical powers that you and I possess and the road would NOT be a safer place if everybody who wanted to get flipped could just buy a fix at the petrol station

You see that guy lighting a cigarette in the car next to you? That isn't a cigarette, its me smoking crack while driving 80 down the road. Why am I smoking crack down the road? Cause my dealer doesn't deliver, and I ran out of crack. Why didn't I just buy enough crack when I first visited him? Because you can never have enough crack. How was I even able to acquire this highly illegal substance? Because lucky for most of us, prohibition doesn't work and buying crack is easier than buying alcohol in my town. Seriously though, you are just as likely to die in a car accident with a sober driver than an intoxicated driver, if you are that afraid of dying on the road STAY THE FUCK HOME!

So if I want to buy tobacco and I show you I am of age with a valid state identification you're going to turn my business away unless I register with some Federal database? Fuck that, I'll just steal them. You're welcome
