The actual meaning of life

is kinda obvious to me.
We aren't really that different from apes and for that matter from most of the life on Earth.
So what does life do then?
Makes more of itself me thinks
We are simply corpuscles, vehicles for an array of biological network components.
One of these components stands out with its ingenuity and beauty
Somewhere I read Leary's statement that DNA is sort of a superorganism that is the complement of all living organisms. I read that before I really knew who he was and it seemed kinda wacky but then I understood why
Anyway I'm drifting away from the main the point...which is that we exist in order to reproduce and thus maintain a cosmic cohort by which the universe can know itself.
The drawback is that our brains are the physical hosts for the corrosive behavioural patterns that debase the mutual wealth.
All in all we are merely transient carriers of the collective cosmic consciousness.
Your mission is to extract as many molecules as possible from your neural junctions, and overflood this planet

Yup, in a nutshell. Survival and replication. Also transforming the available elements of our substrate (the Earth) into different compounds.

Mostly destroy the weak.

Survival of the individual is there to ensure replication.
IMO thats why mushrooms reduce the rate of psilocybin synthesis after the veil breaks open. The goods are there to deter small bugs from eating the developing 'progeny dispenser'. Once the spores are released there is not much of a use for the shroom (except to release some more).
Essentially all things maintain their transient existence in order to immortalize and perfect their perpetual genotypes.
The process depends on elimination of the unsuitable

humans have an ability to give meaning to things which have no meaning inherently. but the meaning we give things makes the things the most meaningful they can possibly be

Reality is nothing but a probability possibility cloud. So play along.
