True i dont belive it ether. I was diagnosed with vitamin d deficiency about a year ago and i was told to take the supplements and that got my vitamin d levels back to normal along with sunlight. I thought i read somewhere though that some studies suggested the pills for vitamin d can somehow increase risk of cancer
I dont buy it though.

Vitamin D is supposed to decrease the risk of cancer. I think you've got this backwards?

If you're worries about supplements, get fermented cod liver oil from green pastures. Real food with TONS of vitamin D and A.
-------------------- "A human being is part of the whole, called by us 'Universe'; a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest -- a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole nature in its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely but striving for such achievement is, in itself, a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner security." Albert Einstein

Vitamin D is very beneficial and especially to pre-cancer and cancer patients.
The pills are harder for your system to digest and absorb and so organic sources are preferable. Double up on pills if not. We use turkey tail mushrooms which are rich organic sources and get the better results.
They are the most prevalent mushroom in the wild and look like my avatar.
Ergosterol (Provitamin D2) is not water soluble. Organic solvents. If we are not eating some of whole fruit itself, we use ETOH first and then the hot water to extract so that about 50% of the final extract is concentrated etoh and 50% hot water extract.

Maybe it depends on the kind? I heard from a doctor that you shouldn't take vitamin d2 but take the d3 kind.
