Who or what inspires you?
    #13448151 - 11/07/10 12:08 PM (13 years, 4 months ago)

I don't want to steer anyone into a certain direction so for now, I'll leave the post at this. I'd like to know why the things or people give you inspiration because for many, these possible inspirations can be unseen.

Why??? Some of those are obvious but it may be deeper and some could find inspiration in what they never really looked into or realized.

Icelander, send me some good philosophy posts if you don't mind, or even books i should read. I am so interested but know very little about it. Concepts such as Time really blow my mind. It's such an open art and I believe if everyone were more into it, philosophy could really help our society in so many ways, especially in depression.

Read the first four books by Carlos Castaneda and listen to all the Doors songs written by Jim.:satansmoking:

I'm getting into promoting because of how much you can learn from others. Every day I meet someone new and usually learn something from them. That alone inspires me to want to talk to everyone that crosses my path. Everyone has something to offer.

Nietzsche, Spinoza, and Socrates are probably the 3 philosophers I get the most from reading. Hegel seems promising too, thus far.

It is the direct goal of my music and creative writing to overturn people's preheld notions of reality, so I'm inspired by many things in that regard.

I've been that way my whole life. There will always be more to learn. I wanted to be a marriage and family therapist going into college so that kind of shows it won't get old for me.

All great things! Thanks for the readings!!!

No one is really saying why they are inspired by the things that inspire them the most. Again, there's the obvious but for many, it's much deeper. Do you guys not like to go that deep???

I myself am inspired by my surroundings. I live and breathe music. Everything I look at brings out notes. I guess you could say my piano playing always comes with a story. I love to orchestrate, therefore all instruments inspire me. All instruments even if the same have there own sound and emotion to be brought out. Probably why I have had 3 acoustic pianos and 7 guitars at once.
My friends also play a huge part in my inspiration. They give me those emotions and help me bring them to life through music.
