MEXI-CUB, FLORIDA +, and SOUTH AMERICAN

I am doing research for the movie I am currently writing the script for about the life of a psychonaut who grows his own mushrooms. This guy has grown off and on towards the beginning of the movie, but when he realizes he would like to find some answers he isn't capable of own his own, he decides to grow a little more professionaly to have a constant supply for him and a cast of off-the-wall, zany co-stars he works with (one is a really hot chick, but that's completely and totally irrelevant here).
Anyways, so I can fully understand what it is the character is doing in my movie, I must have some considerable knowlege about what he is doing. So, I was wondering if anyone has some good descriptions on Mexi-Cub, Florida +, or South American strains of P. cubensis. I haven't seen a lot of information yet, so if anyone has experience or any links to some information, please let me know so my movie will seem more realistic. (Paramount has shown som interest in this script. hehe)
