Haha, that look on his face before the video even starts is so priceless. Allen St. Pierre is great. He's already owned Kerlikowske and I haven't even started the video yet!

However, I think decriminalization of drugs would be easier
to sell to people than legalization of marijuana.
Absolutely decriminalization is an easier sell, especially to anti-drug
parents. Their perception changes when their kid gets popped for drugs.
Their little angel should not be jailed but they have no
problem putting the blame on the evil drug dealer who should be
locked up for life. (Even if that drug dealer is the neighbors kid)
I don't really have as much of an issue seeing drug dealers
get arrested for the simple fact that the gamble is why drug dealers
make money and they are exploiting the drug war.
I have a problem with your statement. It's like a drug user saying
if he gets arrested for drugs that he shouldn't be punished but the guy
he got them from should. That's snitch mentality.
Drug users on the other hand aren't benefiting at all from
drug prohibition.
Drug users benefit in the most fundamental way from drug prohibition, they have easy access
to an unlimited supply of drugs. Without drug
users there would be no
drug dealers, no prohibition, no drug war.
I think decriminalization should continue to be implemented quietly
while the fight for legalization blazes on. If the focus shifts to
decriminalization with legalization in the background, that's where it
will stay and the Drug War will rage on and legalization could be pushed
back decades.

Hey now, don't use the "s" word when talking to me please. That isn't snitch mentality, I got arrested for selling drugs. I didn't feel that I was a victim, I was selling opiates to people and I didn't think they were the victim either. If drugs were legal I wouldn't be able to get 50 cents a mg for oxycodone. I was making really good money because of prohibition and because of the risk I reaped the rewards. I got snitched out by some stupid bitch that I was doing a favor, but shit happens. I didn't snitch anyone out, and while I did only get 3 months in jail and 3 years probation, I could have easily gotten more time than that. I did not for a second ever think about snitching on anyone, AND I was detoxing methadone at the time. I didn't want to be there, but I took responsibility for my actions. I was profiting monetarily from the war on drugs, and I was profiting from other people's misery by continuing to sell them oxycodone at an extremely high mark up. Why did I feel I deserved this, because I was taking the risk of going to prison.
I don't think dealers deserve to go to prison, but if drugs were legal I wouldn't be able to sell drugs anymore and would need to get a real job. The one issue I should mention though is a lot of drug dealers only sell drugs so they can afford there drug habit. I was actually one of these people for the most part, and in a way the war on drugs might have been benefiting me in some ways, it was holding me down in many more. Its kind of fucked up anyway you look at it.

My apologies, fap. I wasn't saying that you were the s word. I don't think that and I didn't mean to imply that.
I'm just saying, in my mind, that kind of thinking can lead to bad public policy and bad behavior. I do see your point, and I'm not saying that drug pushers should not get arrested, many of them should. It's against the law and that's the rules of the game. I'm suggesting legalize and change the rules. And yes that would put drug dealers out of business, but that is kind of my point.
