On a long enough timeline it will all be ok.  True.
And armageddon has happened many times on this planet already, it just depends what side of the chopping block you're on when the ax falls.

Lately Ive slowly been coming to terms with the fact that all humanity could be wiped out, and as horrible as that sounds, I'm getting to be ok with that

the question is: is life as a whole more important than human life?

That depends on what human life you are talking about. There are many good
people here. But compared to the rest of the flock I would give myself up for
the greater good. Fuck mosquitoes are more important to life on this planet than we are. We get whipped out, life goes on. We stay and life is ruined everyday. Atleast
that is the norm right now. And I dont know if we have what it takes to change it.

do you mind dying if it means life on the planet prospers?

b/c IMO life is much bigger than what we experience here as humans or even here on planet earth.  If the earth dies and everything with it that doesn't mean that the whole material life game is over...it's happening elsewhere, and if not now then at some point, I see it as inevitable

Thats what I meant by what I said. I am no better then any other living thing on
this planet. DO I want to die? No but I cannot excape death anyways and if it meant
I would help preserve life on this planet then there is no doubt.

Well thats not possible right now. Unless ET's come down and give us that choice lol.

But if our planet is going to die and theres nothing I can do to help then I would
move on. I would just hope it was not in regards to humans destroying the planet.
I do not know how comfy I would be moving on to another planet along with humans that
contain our current mindset. Tough question because I will never be at that spot in time.

It would be a new kind of homesick. living on another planet, you would long for the earth so badly.

I don't think humans are about to kill off the planet quite yet hehe, perhaps our ways can and will cause mass extinctions but from these extinctions will arise organisms who either thrive on the human way of life or at least can tolerate it.

It is arrogant to think the earth will not survive us
and foolish to think it will.

Yes, unless the beauty of the new planet equals our own. Very possible with all
thos planets out there :smirk: No matter what, if humans can make it this long. We
will have no choice but to find another planet to populate. If the technology is there.

well I mean would you choose life for your species or life for your planet. somethings dying ether way.

its purely hypothetical. lets say even if earth and all its glory dies you get to live a relocate. would you do it or allow yourself to die?

this, again, is purely hypothetical.

I already answered the question. I would move on to another planet. But it depends
on how our planet reached the state in which it reached no return. If it was caused
by us and we were moving on with our current belief system then I cannot say for sure.

Im not trying to be apart of the destruction of another planet god forbid.

I just feel our consciousness is not worth the cost of other living things in which
are made from the same materials. Who are we??

Plus I believe our consciousness will live on after death. This is but an experience
for us.
