Asteroids do NOT hit Earth, why? Because when an asteroid comes into contact with Earth's atmosphere it's what we call a METEOROID.

It's doesn't matter. If the atmospheric constituents change enough, it will wipe us out no matter how much technology we bring to bear. Other species could well thrive in the new atmosphere. Ocean species might not be affected at all.

I am more compassionate to the earth and other life on this planet. Its hard to have compassion for humans that are so egotistical. Mankind thinks that they are the superior life on this planet yet we are destroying it. That screams inferiority to me. There are certain religions that fuel that belief. Has there ever been a time in human history when there was peace. I believe when the earth has had enough that she will take care of us. Are weapons are no match for what mother nature can dish out.
