i just lost my shroom virginity recently and it was one of the most amazing experiences ever!!! it was so intense that i thought that my heart was going to burst from being so happy. however, in the middle of my trip, this guy started an arguement with me and completely f*cked up my world. for about an hour i was so confused and miserable and SO angry at him for messing with my trip. but the shrooms were so good that after the ordeal was over, i went right back to being insanely happy. i loved the experience and the intense happiness and comfort. especially the clarity, i see the world though new eyes now.

what was everyone else's first time like?

It was good in the sense that I didn't freak out or anything but I didn't really know what I was getting into so that was bad because I didn't get the most out of it

It was a good one.
Split an eighth between 4 people at an outdoor party with DJs. I'd estimate I consumed about 1 gram.
Experienced some of the most pleasent CEVs I've ever had including morphing statuesque 'ancient' faces and roller coasters of color+texture.
I was enthralled by the visual and physical sensations of the trip and did not 'think about thinking' or whatever...in other words, I had no "revelations".
The trip culminated on the car ride home with a hallucination of two giant skunks gettin' it on in the bushes.

The first trip was probably the best one....maybe not the most intensest...maybe not the most insightful....but it definitely was the most fun one....but dont get me wrong....ALL my trips were insanely awesome =)

The first is always the best, 'cos you can read all the trip reports in the world and still not know for sure what you're in for. It's the anticipation!

I've never had a bad trip. There is no substitution for preperation. Plan your trip, I mainly trip for enlightenment and only ever in the company of one other. The best feeling I've ever had was three hours into a strong trip when I realised that I wasn't alone.

I suppose you had to be there. :smile:

My first Mushroom started out in my own personal hell..
I was curled up in the fetus position. nervous, thoughts of my worst fears,. runny nose, plugged ears, cold and shaking, extreme nausia, puking.. etc..
Then I picked up a piece of literature called The Psychedelic Experience and read a few lines and BANG BAM BOOM - all my fears and physical symptons vanished and I laughed at the way I was moments earlier. The rest of the trip was a cosmic delight!

"Was it a great trip" should have been one of the choices listed. Mine was great.

I was well prepared for it though.

My first trip sort of sucked in a way. It was fun, though, but it never hit me that strong and I ended up getting pissed at the end because it was going away before it ever really came. I guess one has to stick their toes in the water before they can drown themselves in it, though.

I'd classify my first trip as good. Definately I did not know how to think on it, but it definately blew my mind. I also watched the movie Pi for the first time when I was shrooming for the first time, and that movie definately rocked my brain. I had the best peak of my life as well as the worst trip of my life all in one, it was all going good, until my best friend started rambling about bad stuff and ended up puking on himself and then claiming he couldnt move to clean it off. Enough said, that turned the trip on me, and I started thinking about bad stuff and about puking, so I was going to the bathroom, then turned and puked with my pants down around my ankles, that was probably one of the worst moments at the time, and my worst drug experience at that time (not now, ive had many worse experiences)
But all in all, I'd say it was a great trip. Definately influenced my life in magnificent ways.

My first trip...although in the wrong, unprepared setting, alone, 2g of homegrowns, was absolutely terrifying, yet i came out of it thinking it was a VERY positive experience. For hours it was blasphemy. If youve ever seen trainspotting..and mark (i think?) is locked in his Room going through heroin withdrawl, and sees a baby comming at him upside down on his roof...Well thats the best way i can describe what i was feeling. It all went bad after unintentionally looking in the mirror and seeing my face fall off. However, i learned how to respect the mushroom, i learned the importance of set and setting, and surrendering. I learned what tripping was that night, and that is positive.

for a long time i thought my first shroom trip was horrible.
i was with someone who was my boyfriend at the time, and all i could think about was how he was nothing but a cheating bastard, and how i would be better off with out him, and after that i felt so guily for thinking all that sutff about him, because he haden't cheated on me at the time....
but...after a while, he did, and he was a real asshole...so now i think i should have listend to them. i'm glad they tried to show me something that i should have realized.

So I walk up and P hands me the small bag, very obviously, and i give him a mean look like 'keep it down g' so he says "Heres your illegal mushrooms J" Really loudly.

LOL awesome trip report! I never laughed so hard reading one, the part where u start moaning because you enjoyed petting your cat was so cool lmao
