The founding fathers would certainly diagree with Bush's way of thinking, and obviously it would be impossible to make everyone think the same.

Unforunately, no.
This thread seems very political. I think it is a GREAT thread but it doesn't seem to fit here.
I try to be as fair and impartial as I can in these instances but in this case I want to try something a little different
Since this thread is really more political and political philosophy (some cannot tell the difference) AND there is a tiny bit of philosophy in it, I am going to allow a vote to see what the members think about where it should go.
In other words, I am slightly bending the rules.
Here is a short poll to decide the fate of this thread.
I will tally the results later this evening and follow the dictum of the body.

The mark of a good moderator is fairness and impartiality.
I always try to be both.
I actually hate moving threads, disciplining members, enforcing policy, etc.
I think that nearly everyone here tries to do their best most of the time.
I am not a Nazi. I just try to make sure that all of us has as good a time here as we can and we learn something.
Caring for each other should be the main thing we learn, no?
