Family Not Happy With FBI Over Drug Raid, Treatment Of Boy

MANSFIELD, Ohio — Hunter Hall is only 12 years old, but he has already experienced what most adolescents will only ever see on television or in video games.

Hall was home alone earlier this month when FBI agents raided the home his family rents as part of a drug trafficking investigation, 10TV's Ashleigh Barry reported on Thursday.

The Hall family was not the FBI's intended target, but the raid left the boy rattled.

He said he opened the door and was face to face with several armed agents, Barry reported.

"I was looking around at their guns and stuff and a few of them had their guns drawn," Hall said, "At that point they didn't know who was living with me."

Hall said he was handcuffed during the ordeal.

"It was scary," he said. "By that time I was crying and I was scared."

Hall's parents were working when the raid occurred.  Shauna Hall, the boy's mother, left work and rushed home as soon as she found out what was happening.

"I didn't know what to think," she said.  "I couldn't get home fast enough."

The Hall family learned later that the raid was the culmination of a two-year investigation into an alleged  drug trafficking ring that involved their landlord, who had moved out of the residence about a month earlier, Barry reported.

Questions remained, however, about why Hunter was forced to stand outside in handcuffs and wearing not but shorts.

"I want them to explain to him," Shauna Hall said.  "We can tell him all we want, but they need to tell him."

The FBI told the Mansfield News Journal that it followed protocol during the raid to ensure everyone's safety, Barry reported.

One would think that after incidents like this, more SWAT-type agents would start saying, "I didn't sign up for this." But the sad truth is they probably did sign up for raid duty so they could kick down doors and brutalize people. They are against decriminalization because of the thrill of their job and the fat paycheck it provides.

10million its what they should have to pay- and that way the lil kid makes 70k for the rest of his life-  They get to confiscate money property etc during a raid- if they fuck up they should have to give back-  what kinda intellegence did they have if they were a month behind-what no steakout really that was so dumb-

More like, they followed protocol in order to ensure not getting sued.

You know back when Adolf Hitler ran Germany, the Nazis also followed protocol.

Yeah, I'll bet 20 of them dressed in combat gear and automatic weapons stormed the place. Some safety,

Another fine example of "Intelligence" and pretty rotten too. Shame for the kid that he had to be a poster child for what stupid criminals we have that are "untouchable".
Can you see numb-nu*s telling this kid some big bs, propaganda fantasy about why they did it to justify themselves?
Problem is, kids always know how full of it and weak you are

Thanks FBI. You really made yourselves look smart and cool there.
(try to avoid multiple explicatives in veggies thread...ohh....trying...agghhhh! I better go soemwhere else for awhile...)

It's a minor miracle that they didn't shoot him for "moving toward them in a threatening manor"
