Holy shit, my nose is leaking more fluid than I thought was contained in me. What's worse is there's a deep extreme itching in my sinuses. I can tell they're totally swollen because inhaling through my nose is literally impossible.
So I've been thinking of getting a Balloon sinusplasty, has anyone here undergone this procedure, or know someone who has?
Honestly my sinuses are bad enough that if they are acting up while at work, it severely impedes my ability and speed to complete tasks.

That procedure doesnt sound like fun to me. When my allergies pick up I use zyrtec and afrin. Usually works good for me.

I also have a very runny nose.
I've recently seen a special doctor about my poor health in general. Runny noses and stuff arn't only caused by environmental alergens such as grass and cats. It can be caused from eating food which you are allergic too.
When people think of food alergies, you automatically imagine some kid with lips the size of...idk suasages after eating peanuts or whatever. Turns out, you can be allergic to certain foods and only exhibit mild symptoms which people don't even pay attention too. Such as bloating and your shit not being "properly formed".
So, i did a food allergy test and turns out i'm allergic to all sorts of foods including lamb, corn, coffee, goats milk and others.
I also found out what vitamins and thig-os i'm lacking in my body.
So, all i gotta do is avoid those foods and take the vitamins and thing-os (thing-os = zinc and stuff. I'm not sure if these are classified as 'vitamins'). This will make me healthier i'll lose my allergies both food and environmental.
Maybe you sould consider doing what i did?

Well, they always seem to pick up in the winter, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was food related. I'm going to go see a doctor about it soon and I'll bring that up.

The only thing that works for me is diphenhydramine, and it makes me really tired. I'm already tired from waking up at 5am at work, so I wouldn't want to be even more tired.

Yeah I dont take that much. Gets me all cracked out and I dont like it. I get hives and the doc gives me a product called xyzal. Shit works amazingly. Not sure if it applies to all allergies, but you might check it out. Stops all reactions for about 2 days for me, and I dont get any side effects from it.

The only thing is, my sinuses will act up about 5/7 days a week for the remainder of the winter, and I really, really don't want to take any kind of allergy medicine that often.
I don't understand what seems unappealing about the procedure, it is painless. Only risk is possible optical or brain damage, which they assess before operating.

Just not excited about anything going up my nose, especially for surgical purposes. Might look into a blood allergy test. Seems like if the allergy only happens in the winter, then it shouldnt be hard to isolate. Biggest thing is to find out what goes on in your life in the winter that doesnt go on the rest of the year. Has to be a change in something.
