Ok, maybe this should bein cultivation, feel free to move it.

but yeah, today I checked on my colonizing cakes to find them all infected (save one)

anyway, other then using a pressure cooker or boiling a pot in a pot, what is a good way to sterilize this shit?

if you nuke em longer they almost glow lol.But best to add a bit more water than usal as you get a bit of evaporation.I use plastic lidded jars but if you use metal just nuke 10 mins on full then as soon as it dings open and put the lid on.I spray the inside of mine with dettol(lysol us)i you use plastic lids unscrew then and just place them ontop.once nuked dont tightn them to tight else they then shrink as there cooling and are very hard to get of again lol.
Appliances do varie so just make sure there to hot to pick up bare handed and that should be hot enuff inside.Play about  with the settings a bit till you find the right time as to much makes the cake prettty tough and unlose.

Well, uh, the problem is, I am using tupperware...


So, I dunno if it will ever get to hot to touch.

I'll jsut put them in there for 30 minutes! ^_^ that should be safe.
