APPLY HERE FOR THE A.H.P. COMPILATION!

THE PLAN: Okay, i was thinking of a way to all make one big ass song. About maximum 1 hour. Minimum 15 minutes. By all seperately generating parts of the song. And part by part mixing them together. The master mixer would be reason. Since any file in mp3 or wav can be embedded into it and mixed together. But we would have to share used samples also since it makes the mixing easier. And you would have to place a sample in your part of the song making it clear that its your part. A vocal saying you name or something like that. We will make a ordered list of who will start and end the song. The list will be setup by poll. Current applied and approved E.J.'s dee_N_ae Fliquid Murex MushyMay Strumpling yelims The 7th of march is the last day you can apply. Please join, if you are good. The more people join, the better and longer the song. RULES OF APPLICATION: - You must be able to upload and download high amounts of data. - Genre will be ambient/house/psychedelic. - Only software generated music. Please tell me which software you use to create. WHAT WE NEED: - I also need a side kick, someone who will keep communications within the group in order. And will help me arrange stuff in general. Apply here! - An easy way to share all samples. (Maybe all share on Kazaa for a while under a secret file description name or something.) Or maybe someone has a server we can use? - Apply here if you want to do the mixdown. (The mixing of all generated sounds.) If you have any questions, please ask.

I'm ready dude! wait so we all can only work on a small section of the main thing? Like I wouldn't be able to add a little sound to somebody else's part?

how would you use Reason as an audio mixer? by loading up the NN19? Reason is a MIDI sequencer, not a DAW, right?
it would be easier to use Logic5 or DP3 as the Master.
let me know if you need any ware for your projekt.

I'm not too musically creative, but I can be the sidekick... I'm good with organization and communication.

I'd be interested in contributing to the compilation. I mainly work with ambient/psychedelic/experimental. I'm not that good but I'm enthusiastic

Indeed! I'm totally down for this. We should definately all hook up in either SoulSeek or Kazaa and start sharing samples to build our parts with. Anyone have any ideas for the BPM?

I would assume that for a piece lasting anywhere near an hour the BPM could change quite a bit. Once it gets started I think it this may take on a life of it's own. One more thing, I'm on a Mac so I can't use Kazaa etc. Is this going to be a problem?

Well if you think you can mix the entire compilation. We would have to vote on that. But we will first wait for more people to apply for the job. I'll set it up.

you could use Virtual PC 6 to run Kazaa on Mac, or you could install Limewire (Gnutella net) and i could throw your files to Kazaa.
