Fruiting question...
    #1339527 - 02/27/03 06:51 AM (13 years, 9 months ago)

How long does it generally take for the fruiting to start after the cake  has been birthed?  This is a first attempt, and there are 12 jars in a tupperware manually-humidified container.  And yes, I did read the FAQ!

If you read the faq then you should know the time it takes varies. It can happen soon (3 days) or take weeks.

Some friends of mine have had all sorts of times.

3 days. 7 days. two weeks.

One time, a friend of mine birthed 12 cakes from the same batch into the same grow environment and two of the cakes did not even start pinning until the other 10 where into their third flush. The crazy thing is, the cakes that took forever to pin made some big mushroom monsters.

You are on the easy part now. You will be enjoying your first home-grown trip very soon.

Fruting question... [Re: sirreal]

sirreal - I did read the FAQ, I could've just missed that part though.

My friend has just heard lots of different times to wait for them to start pinning...and kinda wanted to confirm from more knowledgable people.  Thanks
