Location:  Sierra de Cacoma, Jalisco, Mexico

I considered L. amethystina, but that species lacks pleurocystidia.

Usually when I make a thread the comments are above the photo, but I used a linux shell script to make this post from the MO observation, so the comments are below each picture.

Pretty gills. What trees/bushes were in the area? No pine? Looks like they were growing in rubble!:stoned:
