Growing Mushrooms in Yeast?
    #1338445 - 02/26/03 06:19 PM (13 years, 9 months ago)

Okay, so I learned in biology how DNA from certain plants and animals can be inserted into yeast and mass produced. Would this be an effective way of genetically engineering a strain of yeast that grows exponentially as well as produces psylocibin or is this completely impossible and I'm just crazy.

To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.
