"Perhaps you have never experienced awakening from a dream within a dream."
I have. The difference between dreams and reality is that dreams do no follow logic, and are often forgotten within themselves. The fact that it is possible to become lucid within a dream, and to control your reality suggests that it is something personal, and unrelated to the reality that others experience.
"What Einstein demonstrated in physics is equally true of all other aspects of the cosmos: all reality is relative."
Wait, are we talking about the same Einstein? http://www2.slac.stanford.edu/vvc/theory/relativity.html
The difference between waking reality and dream reality is that waking reality follows strict rules, is certainly considered more important by our minds. In waking reality, we are aware of the dream reality, but it's only on rare occasions that the opposite is true.
Granted, all reality could easily be false, but you still need to carefully analyze what information you have. Is a psychedelic encounter with an reptillian being a sign that reptiles are secretly controlling the planet, or is is a cryptic message about the nature of your own mind, your memories and associations, and your psyche?

Actually I lean alot more heavily towards the latter.
It's just the experience in question was so powerful, it's hard to distinguish between the archetypical world and the real one sometimes, especially when things such as dimensions and alternate realities come into play. Also, when other people claim extremely similar experiences independent of my own, it makes me wonder....
Anyways, thankyou for a wonderful arguement / discussion.

No problem, likewise.

As I have listened to hours and hours of Icke, I just want to put my two cents in to this thread. I've been to Icke conferences where he's laid out his massive world-view.
-For one, it seems to me Icke's theories are a big oversimplification. -Also, he commits many logical fallacies, esp. the fallacy of ignorance. But even himself doesn't claim to have proof of what he talks about, just theories with some evidence to back them. -I don't buy all of his arguments of manipulation all through out history by this illuminati group of secret societies, who use other groups as front groups. Which is founded on his bloodline hypothesis, that I think is possible, but even if true isn't sufficient to make the claim of spiritual manipulation for centuries. -Also, I'm very skeptical towards basing his reasoning on the writings of Cathy O'Brien, mind-control slave of the CIA Project Monarch, who was a sex slave to reagan, cheney, hilary clinton etc.... and Bush Sr. would routinely rape her 3-year old child. It's all interesting and even plausible if you accept Icke's ontology, but I find it hard to buy.
-What I think are the best Icke theories are his theories on how media and education performs a function to lock us in 5-sense reality and our 'mental-emotional sheep pens.' As well as his problem-reaction-solution hypothesis for the advancement of the new world order agenda.
As far as Icke being a M16 agent, I do think that theory is highly possible. Whether its M16 or another group operating behind the scenes with a positive or negative agenda is another story. Just remember that Icke has a lot of influence over a lot of people. I never used to think so, but after being part of an auditorium packed with 700+ people, with people standing in the back who had paid 70$ for full price tickets after there were no more seats left, my mind was changed.
What I am skeptical with is that the theories behind the top of the top that Icke presents. That these networks of secret societies (who no doubt exist) are all united into a hierarchy with an agenda, is one magnificent claim, that the top levels are blood-drinking, child-raping, black magicians seems a hard to buy, but is entirely plausible.
I also think that the existence of the illuminati in the fashion of above, is a massive disinformation plot, perpetrated to steer attention away from the true keepers of the mysteries....
and the reptilian theory does not assume that there are many different factions of alien races that are here to help us as well. Just that the reptilians are the alien race that is in control over the Earth.
Anyways though, if anyone wants to debate Icke, feel free to PM me.
I do say though I enjoy his theories of spirtually breaking free out of the global pyramid immensely and I'd gladly pay another 70$ to see him speed talk for another 9 and a half hours.
Cheers, Mith
