    #1337088 - 02/26/03 06:58 AM (21 years, 1 month ago)

Surely you've heard of the.....BERMUDA TRIANGLE....muahahahahaa!! MUAHAHAHAHAAA!!!! ok ahem....but what is it? what causes even our military jets to mysteriously vanish...countless lives lost....throughout history...thousands of vessels have been lost....without a trace....So who better to ask...then..the entire shroomery...why?
Any theories? thoughts?

Isn't that an area known for hurricanes and pirates?

Are you suggesting that the reasons behind all the vanishes were hurricanes, and swash-buckling sword-swinging treasure-seeking peg-legged parrot holding pirates? Are you shroomin right now or something? lol  :smirk:

Do a little research and you will find that traffic through that area is highly concentrated, especially with small pleasure craft, and disappearances per nautical mile are not statistically higher than most any other arbitrary chunk o' sea.

Note that the most "famous" Bermuda Triangle disappearance of all time was the five Navy Avengers in 1948(?) However, they went down off the east coast of Florida which is clearly outside of the Triangle.

You know how in romantic comedies whenever somebody is about to fall in love with somebody else, they go through a period when they just piss eachother off? Well, I think Swami and Shroomism are in a prolonged one of those.

its because there is a high concentration of methane underground in that area. when ships sail over the leaks, there are bubbles that are less dense than water so the ship sinks. but methane is lighter than air so it rises and disrupts the airflow causing planes to crash as well.

Long ago, it was either atlantis or some sort of egyptian empire covered the earth at one point. Its funny many people think that humanity has only went forward, there wrong. There has been many highly techonolgical empire on the earth at one time. Humanity has regressed many times through out history.

During this empire there were underwater bases/houses (i don't know what it was) but when divers went deep under the ocean on one tip of triangle they found a the reason for the lost ships and airplanes.

(i heard this from my dad, i really don't know anything about it)

Deep under the ocean layed a pyramid, the pyramind had its top that was removeable or the top was off of the pyramind. Similar to the pyramind that hovers the illuninatii symbol. They found a orb being held by a hand. They took it to a research facility and when a butter knife was ran over it, the butter knife shot to the ceiling. They believed that the pyramind with orb was an ancient power generator or atmospherical power generator. They believe that its purpose was to lift some sort of aircraft. (ive heard that at one time or another there was a space war on the earth)
__________________________________________________________________

So the mystery has been solved; i believe it has something to do with ancient eygpt and the whole horus, and technolgy thing. I wish i still had the link!

Basically theres some stone tables of potential ancient yet very modern technologys

I believe the site was www.freedomdomain.com <---- but this site is down or something?

Johnny five, I doubt everything you just posted.

Lab researcher one: "What is this orb thing?

Lab researcher two: "I don't know. We better start with standard examination of orbs. Get the butter knife and wave it over it."

Lab researcher one: "gee it shot to the ceiling. Let's stop the research here and spread knowledge of this orb only by word of mouth so that it becomes an urban legend/myth."

As for ancient high tech civilizations.. I'm not so quick to buy this sort of thing. Other people are, though. They read Graham Hancock's version of history and see how it all fits together so perfectly and thinks it's real with no knowledge of the conventional view of history and human evolution. Guess what? It makes perfect sense too, so I'd be well versed in conventional stuff before you start getting into the New York Time's bestseller list history.

Oh, and Atlantis? A sunken city has been found off the coast of Cuba. It is in 2000 feet of water and has pyramids and mayan style glyphs. Of course, we can't see any of the pictures yet because National Geographic is planning on doing a manned submarine expedition down there this summer and i'm sure want to turn it into a television spectacle and make big money so it's pretty hush hush until they go do it I suppose. Geologists claim that section of the earth could have sunk below sea level at about 6000 BC.

That is Atlantis. Florida is physically connected to it.

There was a movie I saw a long time ago called the Bermuda Triangle or something, and the theory was that it IS a portal to another dimension...and these two couples are out on a honeymoon on their private little yacht, and all of the sudden they get this wave of some sort of electrical storm or something, and then he loses his wife through the storm, and later they found out how to get thru the portal, and it led to the next dimension, where time didnt exist....pretty cool stuff...

-grin- Damnit Swami, quite reading my mind and posting what I am thinking before I get around to it! ... Don't forget that most sailors are a very superstitious lot. Tales tend to take on a life of their own...

CHRONIC? A-L-L-R-I-G-H-T.

Dude, use a bong, try putting a couple of ice cudes in the water before taking your next rip.
