spawnbag variation: theories on why this happened?

So this girl I know made 5 bags of spawn:

1) 1 bag, 3 quarts birdseed, 12cc's spore innoculant used, shaken, then put in a standard tub-in-tub with fishtank heater incubator.
2) 4 other bags with only 1 quart, innoculated 24 hours later also with a 12cc syringe each, but only sprayed down the sides of the bag, similar to pf jars, bag NOT shaken.

Its been 3.5 days for the large bag and it shows very agressive growth all around the bag...remember, I shook it....the other 4 bags dont show any growth. Why do you think this occurred? Should I shake the 4 later bags to get spores mixed in? Moisture content is identical, if not excessive in the large bag. The incubator is 84-86, but was warmer earlier...but thats a constant for all the bags.

if ur using a whole 12cc's n 1 quart bag ur asking for problems
I would use no more than 3 cc in a quart.
Might be getting to much water in them
