Hypocritical Politicians

Dear hypocritical politician,
Why do you speak out against certain acts but then, when out of the public eye, commit the same acts you've spoken out against? Clearly, you wish to have freedom of choice, not unlike the rest of us. This "home of the free" was built around freedom of choice; it is reasonable for you to desire the right to freedom of choice. So what allows you to tell me that I cannot commit an act while you attempt to commit the same act? Surely you do not believe that because you have amassed a larger fortune than the common man (or even many a rich man) that you are allowed actions that others are prohibited, for that would be contrary to the ideals of this country founded on freedom of choice. It would be hypocrisy to call yourself a patriot when your personal beliefs are in direct conflict with those your nation was constructed on, yet you call yourself a patriot while trying to paint the true patriots with colors of treason. In actuality, you are trying to keep the masses uninformed because when the masses are uninformed, you are in power. But you are scared of us. We are those who truly believe no matter your race, sex, or creed, that if you are an American, you have the right to freedom. And we scare you because we see beyond your attempts to keep the public uninformed and we spread the information that we learn, so you try to keep us down by violating our rights and then you use backward laws to support these violations. Not for much longer. Soon, the public will see that you are a slithery tactician, willing to do whatever you can to stay in power, even destroy the country you claim to protect. When that happens, will you stop the hypocrisy or will you continue to make a fool of yourself in a feeble attempt to save face?

That is an Honorable little spiel, however who are you actually talking to?
Politician (singular) controls the masses? Or one representing a larger network of power?
Which are you more pissy about, the fact that these people have power, or the fact that the majority allows them to have it?

Our entire society (that of the United States) is built upon hegemony, so good luck.
