We gave up the first game of the series, but our bats are on fire. This is history right here.
We are winning in Yankee land!!!

Normally I would be talking about a sport that somebody cared about, but the Yankees are losing. That's awesome!

I think it is a pretty awesome too
Although I cant see them beating the Phillies. As long as the Phillies can take care of business in San Fran, which I think they will.

Seeing the Yankees lose is almost as good as seeing your own team win. God damn I hate them.

Yes, signing Lee until he's 36 or whatever it takes to get the deal done will be a great idea, too. Yanks will be treading water in 3 years. Mark my words. They'll have so many terrible contracts, it's going to be awesome.

The Yanks are taking them back to Texas where the Rangers will ultimately fold after we beat them in game 6 and all of the courge & strength is drained from their bodies.

So many predictions. I assume all you big mouths are running to your local bookie.
One game at a time. Yankees just made a huge trade for the rest of the playoffs. Teixiera for whoever they call up from the minors.

I think you have to consider them the favorites to win the series at this point. I almost felt bad for the Yankees, then I remembered they were the Yankees.

I didn't feel bad for them. You can't win if you get shutdown 3 times by the number 3 and 4 starters. That isn't going to cut it ever.

Felix Hernandez 2010. Nolan Ryan 1987. Win-loss records don't mean much.

Aside from the fact that your disregard of W/L is bullshit, Lewis didn't have any dominant stats. In fact, except for a vastly superior record by Hughes they were very similar.
Nolan Ryan doesn't belong anywhere near the Hall except as a visitor and Hernandez dominated the other stat categories. Lewis? Not at all.

The regular season doesn't matter anymore, Lewis pitched an amazing game and ended the Yankees season. That matters, though.
Best part of the game was Feliz striking out A-rod for the final out. It being A-rod made it so much sweeter.

Ryan deserves everything he has.

He had a K/9 near 9 and a solid walk rate. 196 K's and 65 walks in 201 innings is really good in my book.
