Most people seem to say let the PC and jars cool naturally overnight (8+ hours).

There's no need to incubate your jars unless you live in cooler climates. Just place your jars on a shelf, or in a closet on a shelf, that remains between 70-78F. After sterilizing your jars, wait until your jars have cooled to room temperature before inoculating as to not damage your spores or live culture inoculant.. Incubation of jars, at 80F or above, becomes ideal conditions for the growth of bacteria and contaminates, as well as, slows the growth of our cubensis mycelium. At 100F and above, cubensis mycelium begins to die.

Give the PC 1 hour to cool down, then open it up take the jars out and wait until they are room temprature. If it's pftek, wait a little longer as it will still be warm in the middle, grains you can give a shake.
for me grains take 4-6 hours to cool after the 1 hour until opening up the PC. If you manually take the pressure of the PC it will take some of the jars moisture with it.

Just leave the jars in the PC and inoculate on the next day.
Works great

Just wait till you it's cool enough to keep your hand on the outside of the PC, then open it up, take the jars out one by one, check 'em for cracks, snug down the lids and shake them up to distribute the grain. If you have good lids (like filter discs) they will never contam this way. Got a cooling PC right now.
If you just leave it to sit overnight you get a lot clumpier grain and it's a bitch to work with.

I haven't noticed this issue. Rinse your grains well, add a little gypsum in the soak you're good to go for leaving them sit all night.

I wonder this too. Because I only have one PC and sometimes I need to PC something else after doing grain. So it's okay to wait one hour before opening the PC up? Then letting them cool to room temperature inside a still air box? Then inoculating them when they are 80 or below? Cause I want to PC some agar but my grains just got done. and I really want to take them out so I can start working on Agar plates. My lids have polyfill in the middle w a resealing injection port.

The agar only takes 30 min to pc. You should pc that before the grain. If you pour your plates hot than you do not need to wait for the pc to cool down. If you use pasty plates, they cool a lot faster than grain jars. Either way it would be more beneficial for you to pc your agar and even your tools before pc'ing your grain. IMO, you should allow the pc to completely cool before removing your grain jars.
