Why won't my Golden Teacher spawn fruit?

Hi everyone, thanks for reading.
I recently birthed some Golden Teacher spawn in a medium sized aquarium (approx. 18"x12"x24") and they still haven't begun to pin.
I inoculated jars of oats with a spore syringe after a boiling water bath, and was really pleased with how quickly they germinated and colonized (in about 3.5 weeks for the single quart jars). Even better, no jars contaminated.
The problem is that they were birthed October 5th and I still have seen no signs of fruiting.
Two of the jars were wrapped in duct tape and placed in the aquarium with the lids removed. The rest of the spawn was divided into two pint-sized trays.
Approx. two inches of hydrated perlite was placed in the bottom of the aquarium and a rubbermaid tub lid with several holes in it was used as the lid.
One of the jars was cased with approx. 1/2" hydrated coconut coir and one was left as is. Same story for the trays. The coir is being colonized extremely slowly, but other than that there is no sign of any new action since birthing.
I spray hell out of the sides of the aquarium twice a day and fan vigorously with the lid at the same time.
They get a lot of natural light through the blinds in my room and then about two hours of artificial light before I go to bed.
The temperature in my room probably varies from 60-70 degrees, possibly getting down to the high 50s and up to the low 70s.
Here are some pics, taken around October 12th:
If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It looks like you need more perlite. Do you use a hygrometer to monitor your humidity?

did you let them consolidate in the jars for a week after full colonization before spawning?

I do not have a hygrometer, but I suppose I could get more perlite. How much more should I add?
Do you think the temperature is too low? I figured they would just grow slower, but not not grow at all!

Yes I let them consolidate for probably a bit more than a week. Some more so than others because the jars ranged from half-pint to quart size.

fuck every body else cause my own opion is that shit takes longer than YOU want always. especially when you are expecting it. every one wants to know the reality or (fruiting conditions) but if you just wait you will have some pinning. and shrooms. i have fruited with no fruiting chamber thats why we grow cubes. when i did BRF cakes took 12-14 days to pin. when i case grains or bulk spawn to get prints usually 6-12 days patience is the best teacher. all about waiting people say a few days but if your visiting every day it always seems longer cause you dont notice.

id say add more perlite, fan and mist more. And be patient.

Isn't that like saying "it's widely believed by me, that ..."?
zappateer: That looks like a glass bottom aquarium.. for best results in maintaining humidity, you should have holes in all six sides of the aquarium and 4-5" of perlite in the bottom like amenra mentioned. With the holes in the bottom and the terrarium elevated, you'll have more air flow and more stable humidity. Mushroom mycelium loves fresh air exchange which it's not getting much of in your current setup. See here for a video and explanation of proper terrarium construction: http://www.mushroomvideos.com/Terrarium-Tek
Also I'm not familiar with growing cubes on oats, I think you'd have better luck fruiting them on BRF cakes or using cakes, WBS or rye berries as spawn for bulk substrate.

Lack of fresh air will be the problem. Fresh air is ... major pinning trigger.
Dehydration ... another pinning trigger.
12hr light cycles ... another pinning trigger.
You need to fan the shit out of them if your leaving in that FC
Stop spraying with water until pins appear (or just very lightly spray before fanning if things get dry) that will help dehydration
I would highly recommend SGFC

There's no fresh air in your chamber and it's way too fucking cold in your place... use a heating pad under your FC to evaporate water... fan, mist... and oats? wtf why are you using oats?

They look good.
Your room temperature is slowing down the growth. The colder the mycelium gets the closer it gets to being in a dormant state.

They wont pin because theres not enough fresh air. Optimal is fanning every 20 minutes. Which is why automation is optimal. Or a plastic tub with tons of holes in it (shotgun). They'll pin eventually even with what your doing, but I would put them in a smaller rubbermaid with lots of holes to speed things up and improve your flush when it comes.

I'm using oats because it was the only type of grain my local feed mill sold.
This is a one-time experimental operation. I was getting ready to go on a three month trip and wanted to use up a spore syringe in case it went bad while I am gone.

So if dehydration is a pinning trigger, then what is the point of misting?
Could I just take the lid off altogether if there is not enough gas exchange as is?
Thanks a lot to everyone.

Not dehydration, evaporation. Nothing to evaporate if you dont mist.

The drying out process creates evaporating water, which is a pinning trigger... sorry for the smoke and mirrors...
