Gotta share this for those who havent tried, its really quite something.
Im a 10 year vet and tried all manner or teas and ingestion but this one is now my fav.
Choose the cups or glasses you will be drinking from. I like Turkish glasses, I always leave a spoon in each glass as im adding boiling water.
1 x glass/cup water for each person into a pot on the stove.
Add the juice of one whole lemon to the water
Weigh your mushrooms properly, then cut them up as much as possible, no need to grind, into the pot with them.
Boil them for 10 mins.
Add one large teaspoon of honey to each glass.
Pour the mushroom/lemon water through a good strainer into the glasses.
Prepare for takeoff.
The Lemon unlocks the Psilocybin with ruthless efficiency and the honey adds some good fuel to the brain.
I did this last year with just 2 grams per dose and I was amazed by the light and energy I could feel. Off course these are signatures of the mushroom trip but they seemed more pronounced than ever.
Off course honey is like high octane fuel for the brain so its no surprise this had some sort of synergetic effect.
It was my friends first experience with mushrooms and he was impressed.
He is getting ready for the 5 grams dry heroic dose next. Im doing a lot of planning to make the occasion perfect for that mission. I think a big beach campfire may be in order, like the old days : )
Anyway, I hope you all have a great season and may your trips be good ones : )

Interesting,
this sounds amazingly like how I prepared my cyans the last 2 times.
Last night (actually this morning) I prepared 35g fresh cyans that way and was literally a mind disconnected from my body for nearly 5 hours.
It hit hard and fast, like 5 to 10 minutes after sipping the tea.
It also wasn't the usual power curve which goes up steeply to peak then gradually declines, this went straight up, peaked for ~5 hours, then wore off in about 1 hour.
I also chew and swallow the mushroom goop as I'm drinking the tea.
It's a powerful way to do your mushrooms for sure!

Sounds good, ive not tried Cyans. Only Cubies and liberty caps.
I agree, the ingestion method decides the chronology for your first alert, ascent, peak and baseline.
I cant imagine doing the 5 grams dry in Aztec tea without straining and devouring the broken up mushrooms at the same time, all in under 30 seconds.
You would come up like a space rocket and stay very high. You would need your shit together on that flight. A carefully vetted flight team at a carefully considered location at a carefully chosen time, lol.
When i was a teenager i wouldn't have thought twice about doing just that but hard earned psychedelic wisdom prevails now.
Im more than a little apprehensive and frightened these days and these are not emotions for the 5 gram dry heroic dose.
Do you pick or grow cyans?

I pick the cyans.
There's a very good location about 500 feet from my front door that fruits prolifically in the fall and winter.
It's well irrigated ice plant. Takes a bit of pulling of the runners around to find them (they hide, those sneaky little things). But it's a beautiful thing when you move aside some ice plant and see a dozen or so caps.
