I use the simple PF double-ended casing method on all my shrooms and it works well with ecuadors. I find that just waiting it out is the best way to deal with the pesky jar butt. Although it is tempting, turning the jar upside down isn't very effective.

bullshit.
turning the jars over is very effective in helping jars finish.
it drains off excess carbon dioxide, which drains 'cause it's heavier the normal air.
it drains off excess moisture, away from damaging the mycellia and into the verm. layer where it can be used by the cake.
and it gets the surface and weight of the cake off of the glass bottom, making it easier for the mycellia to colonize empty areas.

Follow the same parameters as you would for a normal cubensis. I found that they grow huge on cased rye. Also, they are considereable more potent than others I have tried. They seem to take a little longer to colonize and also have more of a cottony mycelium (at the start). However it is a great strain, I am just going into flush 2 after harvesting 2 ounces (dry) from flush 1.
