Walsh ruined the ending!
    #1333219 - 02/25/03 05:16 AM (14 years, 3 months ago)

In Book II of CWG, "God" explains to Walsh how there is only one of us, that has been split into near infinite pieces, then given the illusion of separateness and made to forget that we REALLY are God.

So God gave us amnesia, then spoiled the suprise by revealing the ending. Would hate to take God or Walsh to a mystery movie unless they were buying the tickets and the popcorn.

Well a head start is always helpful. Of course you know what they say about hindsight..

Empty your cup so that it may be filled

Huh? So then I have to empty it again, so that it may be filled again. If my cup is already full, why take the long way around to getting back to where I started? Are you talking about free refills during Happy Hour?

the answer to that question is actually ridiculously simple:  because there is nothing else to do.

it is the whole purpose of existance... you are an infinite bowl that is always full... which is kind of boring... so you forget about the bowl and get a small empty cup... then you regain the wisdom and thus fill your cup... after that you fill the contents of it back into the bowl and get a bigger empty cup... fill that and you get an even bigger one... and so on and so on until everyone filled the biggest cup... then you rest for an eternity and start all over again  ... it is the never-ending ever-changing divine and holy process of existance or beeing...

i hope you guys got my little metaphor

"Is your mommy here"

"No, sir. Actually, she's out at the market buying Pampers for all us kids."

We're so lost as a species that we need to have the ending revealed to us.

Having the end revealed to us is just the start. Finding out how to move into a daily expression of that revelation is what's difficult.

We must reveal the ending ourselves, we must become our own savoirs. To depend on something or someone else to do it for us means that we are not ready for it nor worthy of it.

Our education must continue...

To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.
