12-year-old caught selling 'crack' at Shoal River Middle School October 11, 2010 - nwfdailynews.com
CRESTVIEW — A 12-year-old boy was arrested Sept. 29 after allegedly selling "crack" on school grounds.
The Shoal River Middle School boy, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff's report, brought a plastic zip-lock baggie containing a light-beige powder to school and was approaching students offering to sell the "crack."
Statements taken from five students at the school also reitereated that the boy had the contraband and was identifying it as "crack" and "powder."
Of the five students, two of them spoke directly with the boy who told them if they were interested in purchasing he had additional drugs at his home that he would bring to school the following day.
Three of the students told school officials the boy allowed them to taste the substance before purchase.
After all the students refused the boy's offer, he gave the substance to a student who turned it over to deputies, the report said.
In his statement, the boy told deputies he had brought the contraband to school with the intent to pass it off as cocaine and to see if he could sell it to another student.
The boy was arrested on felony charges of dealing in counterfeit dangerous drugs. He has a court appearance scheduled for Nov. 3.

He learned this from somewhere. Most likely his parents, or "cousins". Hell in a hand basket. That's where this world is heading.

Obviously people don't want kids to think its ok to sell crack at school. So i could see how a principal might not suffice.
But he is 12. Probably doesn't know what the hell hes talking about. And honestly, are you going to send a 12 year old to juvie? Doubtful. Just kindof a fucked situation from the start

Theyll send him to juvie for sure. They dont want to seem soft on drugs.
I saw an episode of cops yesterday where a 11 or 12 year old was caught throwing rocks through glass wondiws and was cuffed and taken to juvie.

I've been to crestview. I wouldn't say its a hick town, but other people do. The highlight of shoal river is a gun range that is nothing more than some stalls and a bunch of trees. Can't say I'm surprised.

Arrested for dealing counterfeit drugs, so it wasn't real, if it was that would be a different story. Just. A punk kid who took it too far, but a felony? That's bullshit

My homeboy started selling crack when he was 12 . He ended up getting raided and served 8 months in juvi , But they dident find anything in his house other than spoons and bags , but no crack . This is very common in Floridas hoods . Alot of the hoods , and poors start young and end up becomeing Big and sucessful drug dealers . Others end up trying the crack and becomeing addicted , becomeing nothing but crackheads/crackdealers....
