Smart looking clustered LBM on stump
    #13312127 - 10/09/10 10:05 AM (13 years, 4 months ago)

Growing in NWUK, in deciduous woodland on a unidentifiable stump (possibly Oak or Alder, very hard to tell)

I only took a few photos, didn't print and didn't take one home..although it's only 5 minutes away.

Cap: 3-4cm, brown, slightly slimy (see second pic)
Stem: 5-10cm+, White, bruising yellow.
Gills: Light brown (No Spore print)

It's a long shot, but
Mycena inclinata ?

That camera is plenty capable of taking excellent mushroom shots.

Very true, it's a shame I can't get very close with the macro - about 15-20cm, so getting tiny tiny details will have to wait.
