To all my fellow Canadians! I made a post in the marketplace to give away some Edible wedges to Canadian members. If this interests you make a post or PM me your mailing address. This was made possible by a few very generous members who have offered to send me postage to help in the cost of spreading genetics around to everyone!

Firstly, I must commend EvilMushroom666 for the effort put into compiling this awesome resource for Canadians. Fantastic!
My name is Ryan and I am the founder of JerryPoo.com. Although I am based out of the U.S., I am pleased to let you know that I do ship to Canada for VERY reasonable rates. As of right now, Canadian residents are charged a flat shipping fee on all products with NO EXTRA CHARGES (NO TAXES... I incur these costs myself). I am currently working on getting a sponsorship position here at the Shroomery.
JerryPoo.com specializes in composted, exotic zoo-manures used in bulk substrates. Our zoo-manure blend is composed of composted Elephant, Hippo, Rhino, and Zebra dung. This diverse blend of composted manure is extremely rich in nutrients, making it the ideal choice for mushroom cultivation.
I also offer pre-pasteurized casing mixes, autoclavable spawn bags, and other products.
Peace, Ryan

I got mine from MycoPath

Not a CDN supplier per se, but they came to me no problem in the mail... Worked great so far.

Other stuff I got from Canadian Tire; -Verm -Red Ribbon WBS (works great, no preservatives or anything)
omg, the "Red Ribbon" I bought has sooooo many hulled grains, and so much cracked corn, that after trying to "prep" it, it looked like fucking porridge. I didn't even bother PCing it.
I have two 18kg bags I refuse to use. Guess I need a bird feeder now. =P

As long as we are going that way "Agri Tel" birdseed from Walmart sucks too. After you soak it anything that isn't porridge is floaters or black sunflower seeds.
I've cut back on the soak and upped the drying time but colonization is ridiculously slow.
Adding verm helps but all in all crap seed.....looking for "Rye berries" now. Shouldn't be too hard lots of country out here.

FYI:
I found a place that makes Maple baseball bats locally... They also do general wood working as well. Saw all the shavings/dust. Asked if I could had some, and walked away with three HUGE clear garbage bags of hardwood shavings... Untreated, no melamine etc...

Local yes,
They are used to fuel pellet burning stoves and are usually between $4.50-7 for a 40Lb bag. The average price is $5-6 dollars per bag, less when on sale and more randomly at little ma and pa hardware stores. What you are looking for is HARDWOOD fuel pellets, with that listed as the primary ingredient. "100% pure hardwood fuel pellets". I have not personally worked with them yet, but as I have said I have some jars in the PC right now waiting for some Reishi wedges.
Apparently you mix slowly with water until you have brought it upto field capacity, before loading into filter patch bags and PCing. You could supplement it as well with many different things from my understanding. Searching the forums a bit will give you tons of useful information on supplementing your "sawdust". Good luck!

Got my WBS at FreshCo. Compliments Wild Bird Seed. Very good actually, contains cracked corn, and very few sunflower seeds.

I try to avoid cracked corn and other cracked/crushed seed blends. I find it gets too 'thick' and starchy after the soak.
