blue??

during the pinning i started to notice a small blue spot on the cake the shrooms are just starting to come up and they are also all blue i'm not sure if this is brusing or contam does anyone have any insight?

Blueing, sometimes it happens when the cake begins to fruit, don't worry.
Report back if it grows considerably.

I have had blue on almost all of my cakes......never hurt me once. Its just bruising from handling them. Should b no problem, just don't try and fix it in any way.

I have the same phenomenon. I guess its part of the pinning/fruiting process. I posted a picture on my website grow "story".
