SAN ANTONIO --- The teenage daughter of a man charged with selling cocaine was mistakenly shot in the back of the head by federal agents, authorities said.
Ashley Villarreal, 14, died Tuesday after she was taken off life support, relatives said.
The girl was shot Sunday when Drug Enforcement Administration agents mistook her for her father, Joey Angel Villarreal, a three-time convicted drug offender. Joey Angel Villarreal turned himself in and was charged with cocaine trafficking Monday.
Well, sick is all I can say. Sorry I couldn't give a link, but I couldn't find one. I decided to type this one up because it makes me sick to see that they shot his daughter. I don't like cocaine at all, but he didn't deserve this. I saw in a few other newspapers the fact that the DEA declined to comment. Its because they know they mistakenly shot her, but how the hell would you mistake a 14-year-old girl for an adult male?! I'm also confused about the dates, was this 2-4 that it happened and 2-10 he turned himself in?

There should be a murder charge for the cop who shot her.
Being trigger happy never got anyone anywhere.
I say they planed to shoot the guy how else could u see a 14 year old little girl and think she was a adult?

Seriously, if they *murder* his daughter, they should at least let him off. He is gonna live the rest of his life thinking it was his fault his daughter was murdered.

Accidents DO happen..
But when a civillian kills a child by accident, they get charged with manslaughter.
This LEO will get off clean, aside from the guilt they'll feel for the rest of their life from being a childkiller.

The only "accidental" shooting here is that the daughter got shot. They clearly intended to assasinate this man. If it was accidental what actions did the girl do that would justify deadly force in the first place?
as to what a civilian would be charged with.. clear cut premeditated murder.
they should fucking fry everyone involved with this from the asshole that pulled the trigger to the department head that authorized the "bust"/assasination in the first place. most likely they will get a medal for getting the guy to turn himself in with out ever fireing a shot at him. technically that is.

It's clear that the original intentions were to assassinate the father, but how can they kill him if he doesn't have a gun and is unaware of the DEA's plan to bust him? That's a little unfair if you ask me.

Shooting the girl in the back of the head is suspicious at best. This makes no sense at all. Then again it could have been a dirty cop in league with a rival. It is not uncommon. In my hometown, the chief of police and most of the officers employed were arrested for transporting marijuana in police cars from city to city. Cops are just dirty IMHO
